Freund Family

Freund Lisbeth Walther Rudolf & Sachs Mathilde
— This is a photograph of the 3 oldest children of Wilhelm Salomon FREUND (1831-1915) and Clara IMMERWAHR (1845-1914), Lisbeth (1872-1963), Walther (1874-1952) and Rudolf (1877-1959), and their maternal 1st cousin Mathilde SACHS (1871-1956), daughter of Ottliie IMMERWAHR (1833-1915) and Siegmund SACHS (1829-1886).

Altbüsserstrasse - Freund Family
— Hirsch FREUND (ca.1786-1863), father of Wilhelm Salomon FREUND (1831-1915), owned the building at Altbüsserstrasse 2 (now ul. Łaciarska).  After Hirsch FREUND died, the property remained in the FREUND family.  The family lost the property during the Nazi era.  This building was demolished to construct (1913) the Hans Poelzig-designed modern department store building with address on Junkernstrasse (ul. Ofiar Oświęcimskich).
